ABOUT THE PARTNERS
Mrs Phillippa C Rowe, MA, FCII, FAE, Chartered Insurance Practitioner:
Phillippa read Economics at Cambridge University and then spent fifteen years with the R J Kiln group at Lloyd's where she specialised in the fields of claims management, reserving and wordings. She has been senior partner of Phillippa Ross & Co. since 1991, gaining further wide ranging experience of the market. She is a qualified mediator, a Fellow of The Academy of Experts and has been a member of the CII Society of Fellows Legal Panel. She writes and lectures widely on reinsurance and dispute resolution topics.
Jeremy Rowe, FCII, Chartered Insurance Practitioner:
Jeremy spent twenty years in the London market before joining the firm in 1991. He worked in the broking field with Price Forbes, Bland Welch Reinsurance and E W Payne, before moving to Sherwood Computer Services and to Cassidy Davis Ltd. His main expertise is in technical reinsurance accounting and in business systems analysis and design. He has been a senior examiner on reinsurance subjects for the CII, and until 1999 was an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
are Fellows of the CII, (and were members of the CII Society of Fellows) and individual members of BILA. In 1999 both were appointed members of the arbitrators' panel of ARIAS (UK), the AIDA Insurance and Reinsurance Arbitration Society in the UK.
